Ann L. Medley
Ann Medley, resident of Scappoose, Oregon and formerly of Lake Oswego, died on July 17th due to pancreatic cancer.
Born on May 3, 1944, in Macon, Georgia to Morrow and Agnes Steadman, Ann was raised alongside (and in) the Feather River, in Oroville, California.
Through faith, she came to lean on the love, mercy, grace and forgiveness of Jesus.
She felt hugely blessed by the gift of family and friendship in her life... her two precious sons, Benjamin and Jacob, her dear husband, Bob Medley, who two-stepped into her life in 1999, and his children, Kirstin and Robert and their families, who were a wonderful addition.
She was enchanted by their four grandchildren, Ryder Baumann, Tim Dowell, and Merissa and JD Medley, as well as the delightful family of her sister, Sarah Horeis.
Each and every one of her loved ones caused her "Joy Basket" to overflow and gave her so many cherished memories.
Ann delighted in birds and animals of every sort. She loved art and the outdoors and talked to her bees while she gardened. Her sense of adventure gave her amazing joy while traveling, camping, canoeing and just "being" with her sweetheart.
She was grateful and pleased to be here among us for as long as she was able, and thanks you all for the love and the lessons.
She is survived by the true treasures of her life, her dearest friend and husband, Bob Medley; sons, Benjamin and Jacob Baumann; grandson, Ryder Baumann; sister, Sarah Horeis and her husband, Marty; nephews, Erik and Karl Horeis, and Karl's adorable family; step-children, Kirstin Medley and her son Tim Dowell and Robert Medley, his wife Caron, and children, JD and Merissa.
"I love you guys!"
