Junior Elmer Peal
Junior Elmer Peal died of natural causes on June 29, 2021, at his home at the age of 78.
Junior was born in Watts, Oklahoma to Elmer and Elma Peal on January 18, 1943.
Junior moved to Scappoose in 1959 with his family from the Prosser, Washington area.
After he graduated from Scappoose High School in 1962, he volunteered for the U.S. Army in the summer of 1962 and served in Germany until his discharge in 1965.
Junior worked in the floor covering trade then later as a millwright. He lived in the Scappoose area until his death.
Junior's interests were playing the guitar, painting and drawing, golfing, fishing, hunting and storytelling.
Junior was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Jerry C. Peal.
He is survived by his life partner, Jeri Waite; brothers, Doug Peal and Clinton Kerns (Bonnie); his sister, Kami Smith (Jim); and many cousins, nieces, and nephews and like a grandson, Alex Trotter.
He loved and cherished his family and friends and made friends easily. He will be so very much missed and for that reason never forgotten.
Junior will be interned at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland. His celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
