Louise Ann Faxon
Louise Ann Faxon passed away, peacefully at home, on Friday May 10, 2019, at the age of 62. Louise started her life on February 2, 1957 in Myrtle Point, Oregon with parents Lewis and JoAnn Wright. Her family moved to Roseburg, Oregon and remained there until 1968, when the family made the move to Portland, Oregon.
Louise graduated from Beaverton High School and then from Portland State University. Louise remained in Portland where she started working as an elevator operator for Montgomery Wards. It was at this job she met the love of her life, Dan Faxon, in 1975. Louise and Dan were married September 10, 1977. Louise worked a variety of jobs, her family and friends' favorite was Dunkin Donuts, but she settled in with the Portland newspapers, writing classified ads and legal notices among many other tasks. She retired from Pamplin Media Group in March 2018.
Louise loved to travel (recently cruising to Alaska and Hawaii) , going to the beach, working in her yard, sewing, cooking, sending cards for any and every occasion, spending time with family and friends and most of all spending time with her granddaughter, Aria. Louise saw the best in everyone and everything, she would describe and explain with words like "Unbelievable, Amazing, Fabulous and Chipper". Louise has been described as having "Tireless Energy".
Louise is survived by her husband Dan Faxon; daughters, Anna Faxon and Ali Faxon; granddaughter, Aria; mother, JoAnn Swick; brother Rozz Rezebek-Wright; and several extended family members. She is proceeded in death by her brother: Steve Wright.
There will be a celebration of life in Pacific City, Oregon, on June 22, 2019 at 11 am (starting with food and followed with group share time). This will be held at Louise's happiest place and where she spent several of her last days "The Beach House" 37325 Brooten Road, Cloverdale, Oregon. The GPS/Google address is Cloverdale, but is located on Brooten Road going into Pacific City. There will be a parade in the city of Tillamook during this time with detours, starting around 9 am, so try to plan accordingly.
