Jeffrey Lee Lane
Jeffrey Lane was born in Klamath Falls, Ore., on January 30, 1936. At an early age, he moved to Portland, Ore., where he enjoyed a loving and adventurous childhood. He joined the Army Air Force out of high school and served as a radio operator during the Korean Occupation. At this time a visit to Japan awakened a creativity that influenced him throughout his life.
Returning to Portland, he attended the Museum Art School. His curiosity and love of life brought him a wealth of friendships. Self-described, he lived according to the rules of "Lanism". His eye for beauty and composition led to a career of painting and interior design. He appreciated everyone for who they were and will always be remembered as a perfect gentleman.
He was preceded in death by his brother Sanford and is survived by cousins, Elizabeth Adams and Jon Colburn.
Burial will be at Willamette National Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. on January 30, 2020. A celebration of life will follow at 1 p.m. See the Crown Memorial Center website for details.
We can truly say that "Jeffrey's presence was our reward".
