Mildred 'Millie' Healy
Millie was born in Biddeford, Maine to William F. Brennan and Grace Leach Brennan. She attended school in Kennebunkport, and later worked at Arlen Box Company, Kesslen Shoe, and Nike. She eventually relocated to Oregon, where she continued to work for Nike until she retired in 1996.
One of thirteen children, she was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings Robert, Jerry, Michael and Kenneth Brennan, Mary Frances, Katherine, Evelyn, Nora "Pat" , and June. She is survived by her two sisters Wilma "Gig" Norman and Jane "Twink" McGuire, and her brother Charles. Millie also leaves a large number of nieces and nephews, and many cousins.
She married Bernard "Bernie" Healy on a beautiful April day on the rocks at low tide in Kennebunk Beach, Maine in 1985. They resided in Tigard, Oregon together until her passing. She was an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary, serving multiple terms at both local and district levels. Millie was also a charter member of the Eagles in Arundel, Maine. She was known and loved for her blunt honesty, funny retorts, warmth, and her beautiful smile. She is dearly missed.
