Richard Mayo, 79 years of age, passed away in Portland, OR on October 13, 2020.
He was born January 28, 1941 in Seattle, Washington to Victoria and Victor Mayo. Rick attended and graduated from the University of Washington. Rick, also known as Dick, by his colleagues, had a career as a Corporate Executive spanning many years in the lawn and garden industry. He spent the last years as a consultant before retiring to spend time with his wife, Susan.
Rick was a wonderful man, a loving husband and father, and known as a good guy to his many friends in Atlanta, Phoenix, and across the country where he and his family lived.
Rick's wife Susan, of 45 years, passed away in 2009. Rick is survived by his daughters, Lisa and Stephanie, both of Portland; a sister, Marilyn Israel of Phoenix; a brother-in-law, Alan Ruder of Seattle; and his loving companion of the past five years, Jill Ivins of Tampa, Florida.
