Clarence Willard Creamer
Clarence was born in Minneola, Kansas, a small town just south of Dodge City. He was also known as "Sonny" and still is to his family in Kansas. He was an active and adventurous boy with a Tom Sawyer mentality. At age 16 his family moved to California where he finished High School. He entered San Jose Bible College where he met Charlotte Thompson. In 1952 they married and both graduated from college. Their daughter Cheryl was born in San Jose, Calif., and they moved as a family to Beaverton Ore. in 1959 to be near Charlotte's parents on Tile Flat Road.
For 33 years Clarence worked in power tools at Sears downtown and Washington Square. After retiring in 1992, they moved to Bend, Oregon enjoying fishing, hunting and retirement life. In 2007 they moved back to Beaverton to be near family. Clarence served as an elder at various churches for 45 years, led Bible studies, sang duets and ministered to people with Charlotte. They volunteered in camps and with Medical Teams. They believed in sharing monetarily with those in need. He loved His Lord and his final words to those he has left here are, "Don't hurry guys, but I am waiting up here for you all to arrive so that we can praise God together and hug one another!"
His wife Charlotte passed away August 8, 2019. He is survived by his daughter Cheryl Albaugh (Lee); grandchildren Brian Albaugh (Monica) and Christy Stewart (Jeremy); and 10 great- grandchildren.
We all loved him dearly.
