Laura Lee Faber

Laura Lee Faber, 81, passed away Saturday Oct. 26, 2019.
She was born at St. Vincent's hospital in Portland on Sept. 10, 1938 to Leo H. and Enid M. Lauer. She grew up in Ladd's Addition and attended grade school at St. Phillips Neri School before going onto high school at St. Mary's Academy.
Laura Lee dedicated many years to volunteering, both at the Pittock Manson as a tour guide and at Meridian Park Hospital as a Catholic Eucharistic minister for the Chaplain's office. She also spent many years working in the parish office at St. Cyril's in Wilsonville and for the Credit Union of Viewmaster. She was a devout parishioner of St. Cyril's for over 48 years. A few of her favorite things were spending time with her family, playing the piano and travel.
She was a loving wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, cousin and sister. After meeting the apprentice working for her father, she married Jack in 1959.
She is survived by her husband Jack, daughter Beth, sons David and wife Kelli, and Tom and wife Tracey, granddaughters Rachel, Kennedi and Hailey, grandson Dallas as well as sister Claryce.
Funeral service will be held at St. Phillip Neri Church at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov 4. The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to St. Mary's Academy of Portland or St. Cyrils' Parish of Wilsonville.
Private interment at Willamette National Cemetery.
