December, 20 1930 ~ August 12, 2017 - . Joyce was a talented writer and wrote for newspapers and magazines.

Joyce E. Perry (Greene) of Hereford, Arizona passed away Aug. 12, 2017, at Via Elegente' Assisted Living Center in Hereford.

Mrs. Perry was born December 20, 1930, in Marion, Illinois to Gladys and Dausie Armstrong. She went to school in Marion and graduated from Herrin High School.

Her working years were spent in the Midwest where she was employed in the insurance industry. Subsequently, she moved to the west coast where she worked as a government contractor and found the outdoor life she loved so much. Joyce was an ardent hiker, a lover of flowers; especially orchids. She adored her dogs and was never without one. Joyce was a talented writer and wrote for newspapers and magazines.

She was preceded in death by three siblings, Lois "Patsy" Pizzo, Jean Capps, Martin Armstrong and a daughter, Cynthia (Cyndee) Eikenberry, the love of her life.

Joyce is survived by her husband, Wendell Perry of Hereford, Arizona, a brother, Hal Armstrong of Marion, Illinois and a number of nieces and nephews, as well as four children, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, by marriage.

Arrangements by Neptune. There will be no services. Burial will be at Sunnyside Chimes Memorial Garden in Happy Valley, Oregon.
