Susan Isla Peck
Susan Isla Peck, a longtime resident of Woodburn, passed away at Legacy Meridian Park Medical Center on November 24, 2017 at the age of 75. She spent her last day on Earth surrounded by her family.
Susan was born in Oakland, California on September 22, 1942 to Lawrence and Ila Strong. The family moved from California to Reedsport, Oregon where Susan met the father of her children. Her three children, Greg Peck of Reedsport, Oregon, Julie Peck of Woodburn, Oregon and Jamie LeDoux and her husband Matt of North Bend, Oregon, are survived by her. Susan was a beloved grandmother of Kylie Davis and Reina Rosales of Woodburn and Miles Wheeler and Grant Cook of North Bend. She was a proud and devoted great grandmother to Cory Branham, Aubrey Davis and Hailey Phillips of Woodburn. She is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, John and Mala Passmore-Strong, of Dana Point, CA.
Susan spent much of her life caring for the elderly and spending time with her family and church. She was a member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Woodburn, where services will be held on December 9th, 2017 from 10AM-12PM. Susan had requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name could be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
