Margaret Juanita Fobert died in Woodburn on March 5, 2018 at the age of 89. She was born May 31, 1928 the daughter of the late Thomas Leavitt Workman and Mary Emma Marsden Workman in Cardston Alberta Canada. Juanita went to school in Woodburn Oregon. She retired from service with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Woodburn Oregon. An active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints she served as relief Society president for several years, and also a teacher in many capacities. Juanita and her husband served as temple patrons in the Seattle and Portland temples of the church for over 20 years and various other callings. Juanita and Alex also completed a service mission for the Church at the family history center in Salt Lake City, Utah.
She is survived by one sister Lorraine Reck of Beavercreek, and one brother Wayne Workman of Utah, her daughter Patricia (Aaron) McGuffin of Woodburn, sons Norman (Pam) of San Lorenzo California, Charles (MaryAnn) of Hubbard Oregon, Leonard of Sacramento California, John (Katy) of Salem Oregon, along with 22 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Neal in 1965, her husband Alex in 2008, daughter Margaret, her parents, her sisters Necia Bennett and Audrey Fletcher, brothers, LaVar Workman, Benare "Ben" Workman, Gerald "Ged" Workman, Marsden "Mick" Workman, and Ronald Workman.
Viewing will be from nine to 9:45 a.m. Saturday, March 17 with the funeral starting at 10 a.m. in the Woodburn Oregon church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
