On Saturday, Aug. 4, 2018 Robert Eugene Eckhardt went to see his Savior. Robert passed away from complications of Alzheimer's.
Robert spent his professional career as an Agriculture Product Specialist for International Harvester Corporation before retiring in 1991. He moved back to Oregon after his wife of 42 years passed away, where he met the 2nd love of his life, Nadine Culver.
He leaves behind his wife, of 17 years, Nadine L. Eckhardt, of Woodburn; son, Jeff Eckhardt, of Ruston, La.; son and daughter-in-law, Timm and Beth Eckhardt, of Bakersfield, Calif.; son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Nicole Eckhardt, of Fresno, Calif.; three grandsons, Rob Eckhardt, of McKinney, Texas; Nicholas and Brendan Eckhardt, of Bakersfield; sister and brother-in-law, Verna and Alfred Kuhn, of Portland; and sister, Edna Wilhelm, of Yamhill, Ore; Nadine's three children, son and daughter-in-law Brian and Sandy Bischoff, of North Bend, Wash.; daughter, Kathy Bischoff, of Sarasota, Fla.; and son, Todd Bischoff, of California.
He was preceded in death by his wife, of 42 years, Royene Eckhardt; father and mother, William and Pauline Eckhardt; and sister, Dorothy Eckhardt.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 25, 2018, at Hoodview Church of God,1530 Mount Hood Avenue, Woodburn, OR, with a reception to follow.
