Marshall Burnham Flagg
Marshall Burnham Flagg was born in North Dana, MA to Ava B. Flagg and Rachel (Allen) Flagg. He was the eighth child of fifteen. He attended school in Athol, MA before going into the service in the 1950s.
Marshall married his wife Mary Ellen Olmstead in Reno, NV on November 24, 1986. After retiring from his life as a contractor they had more time to enjoy many of their favorite pastimes: taking chances with the slots at casinos, playing cards with family (especially around holidays or other celebrations), going to garage/estate sales, camping, crabbing and fine dining at McDonald's.
Marshall was preceded in death by eight siblings and is survived by three brothers, three sisters, his wife Mary, five children: Cathy McCormick, Marjie Parrott, Paul Flagg, Michael Flagg, and Ken Olmstead, as well as 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Service will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27 at Simon-Cornwell Colonial Chapel at 390 N. 2nd St. in Woodburn.
