Alice Louise (Edwards) (Staudinger) Wiser
Alice Louise (Edwards) (Staudinger) Wiser passed away on June 11, 2019 at the age of 74 in St. Charles Hospital in Bend, Oregon. She had started undergoing chemo for cancer when an acute case of gangrene struck in a leg.
Alice was born April 24, 1945 at Silverton Hospital to Pauline V. (Lyons) and Alvin L. (Lum) Edwards. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert G. and Donald L. Edwards. Alice is survived by her husband, Bill Wiser of Christmas Valley, Oregon; step-son, Chris Wiser; sister, Wilma (Norman) James of Milwaukie, Oregon; nieces, Mylene (Kurt) Rogers of Meadview, Arizona and Sharon (Roger) Smith of Molalla, Oregon and several other nieces and nephews.
Her hobbies included cooking, gardening, and card playing. Alice and her sister played a lot of pinochle. She loved camping and trout fishing. For many years she was quite active in the Eagle Lodge and she cooked for both the Horseshoe and White House Tavern. Also. Alice was a caregiver and cook at Molalla Pheasant Point Senior Living Facility.
She spent most of her life in Colton, Molalla and Christmas Valley, Oregon.
Her wishes were to be cremated with no memorial service.
