Paul D. Hogenkamp
Paul was born and raised in Newberg, Ore. He was the son of William and Helen (Devlin) Hogenkamp. He attended West Chehalem Grade School and Newberg Union High School. After high school he served in the Navy for three years.
In 1970, he married Rebecca Clark. They moved, with their small daughter, to The Dalles in 1973, where they lived for three years and their son was born.
In 1976, they moved to Maupin, Ore., to be close to his job at the saw mill, where he worked until it closed in 1992. He trained as a mechanic at UTI and later worked in various places until retirement.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, John Patrick, Edward, Donald and Joseph.
He is survived by his wife; his daughter Paula and her children, Jordan and Emma; his son TIm and wife Tyrell and their children, Baily, Cameron, Taylor and Colby; as well as two brothers, Allen (Connie) and Kenneth (Ruth Ann).
It was his wish not to have a service, but anyone wishing to make a memorial donation is encouraged to do so to Heart of Hospice in Hood River.
