George W. Yoder was born to Noah and Minnie Yoder on October 25, 1924 in Hubbard, Oregon. He left this world and entered heaven in the presence of his family on March 17, 2020.
George was survived by his wife Doris of 64 years. They were married on March 17, 1956. He was also survived by his three sons Greg (Lynette), Randy (Patsy) and David (Patty-Ann); and 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. George was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and a brother.
George started farming with his dad prior to graduating from Canby high school. George continued farming into his sixties. He also owned and operated a Real Estate office in Woodburn from 1975 to 1985. His true occupational passion was and always will be Farming. George and Doris moved from their home on Needy road to Canby in 1998 and nine months ago moved to Spring Ridge Retirement Center in Charbonneau.
George's passion was his wife, family and his faith. He loved hunting, fishing and camping. There were many memorable trips with his sons and extended family. He was honest, hardworking, and a well-liked man; that was well respected. George will be missed and May he rest in peace.
