Terry G. Tramel
If you awoke Saturday morning and noticed the world was a bit bleaker than the day before, you were not mistaken. Terry Tramel died peacefully in his home Saturday, August 28, 2021, and took with him some of the warmth and sunshine that lit the days of those who knew and loved him.
Terry was a loving husband, father, friend and neighbor. He was a rancher, a farmer, a businessman and entrepreneur. He was a lover of music and books and nature; a planter of trees and sower of seeds. A wheat farmer in his youth, Terry understood that a single kernel can produce twenty- fold, and it was in this wisdom that he cultivated a most beautiful life for he and his family.
Terry believed it his duty to leave the world a better place than he found it, and the people and lands he touched remain a testament to this lifelong pursuit. Despite his physical absence today, the world yet abounds with his essence, alive and well in the rustle of leaves amidst the many trees he planted, the tidy fence rows he built, the happy trickle of his duck pond, the steady bustle of his family business and the crackling fires warming the homes he built around his loved ones.
Even in his final weeks of life he remained concerned only with the comfort and care of his beloved family, and in true Terry form, he left us everything we need to continue onward building our shared family dreams. He will be missed beyond measure by his wife Marcia; his children Brandalyn, Alison and Tyson; and more friends and family than can be listed here. We pray our lives will forever be testament to the treasure he was.
