Rev. Don B. Fivecoat
Rev. Don B. Fivecoat passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at the age of 93. He was a loving husband and father of four boys, a grandfather, a great-grandfather, and a great-great-grandfather.
Don was born on October 22, 1928 in Lodi, California to Russell and Bessie Fivecoat. In 1948, he married Erlene Overby, and they raised 4 sons in the Newberg/Portland area. He graduated from the Nazarene Theological Seminary with a degree in Theology in 1956 and pastored churches in Alsea, Newberg, and Portland.
Don was preceded in death by his wife, Erlene. He is survived by his four sons, Mark, Steve, Jon, and Bruce, his brothers Bill and Bob and all their families. A memorial service will be held at the Newberg Nazarene Church April 2nd, at 1 PM.
