CENTRAL OREGONIAN - Lloyd Eugene (Gene) AdamsOn January 20, 2022, Lloyd Eugene Adams (Gene) went to walk with his Lord and Savior. Gene was born on June 24, 1961, in Prineville, Oregon to Glenna Adams and Lloyd Adams. Gene graduated from Crook County High School. In his youth, as well as adulthood, Gene's hobbies consisted of hunting, fishing, training bird dogs, and as a guide in both hunting and fishing. His favorites spots were the Steins and Shears Bridge. Gene was written about in hunting and fishing magazines regarding his extreme talent with his dogs, specifically German Shorthairs.  As a hunting guide, Gene was highly sought after by outfitters to the elite sport hunters in Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Alaska, and many more. Gene also spent time as a volunteer with the Crook County Sheriff's Cadet program working during the fair season. Gene was preceded in death by his mother, Glenna Adams Sallee; father, Lloyd Adam; and sister, Kay Sallee. Gene was survived by his daughter, Dallas Machelle Bentley and son-in-law Bino Bentley; and his five beautiful grandchildren, Jaylee Kay, Ashton Lee, Erich Mason, Peyton Marie and RiverLynn Cabela — whom he loved spending time with. Gene was also survived by his sisters, Cathy Thompson and Debbie Barter; along with nephews, Greg Thompson, Kevin Thompson, Sean Barter and niece, Nikki Barter-Bennight.
