Oregon State University Extension Service trainings in Oregon City starting Thursday, Jan. 30

Are you passionate about gardening? Then you'd be interested in the Oregon State University Extension Service Master Gardener program that educates Oregonians about the art and science of growing and caring for plants.

Tuesday and Friday options also are scheduled in Hillsboro and Southeast Portland.

Register now to receive advanced horticultural training from OSU experts and the opportunity to serve your community as a garden educator. Training is a hybrid course including in-person classes, online content, hands-on workshops and gardening seminars.

Annually in the metro area, Master Gardeners donate over 40,000 hours of volunteer service to the community. You can find Master Gardeners serving as garden educators at gardens, parks, schools and community events throughout the tri-county region.
