Clackamas County deputies book woman on meth possession charge after being found in stolen vehicle

Clackamas County deputies reported that a Feb. 11 police chase from Happy Valley into Portland led to the arrest of three people on a range of charges.

At 3:10 a.m. on Tuesday, a deputy attempted to stop a black 1999 Ford Ranger pickup on 172nd Avenue, near Southeast Sager Road in Happy Valley, after observing the truck running a stop sign. Police say that the driver failed to yield and attempted to elude the deputy using the vehicle that has been reported stolen on Feb. 9 in Portland.

The suspect drove west on Foster Road into Portland and was reportedly seen throwing items out of the pickup's window. Deputies responded to the area and were able to stop the vehicle at 97th Avenue.  

Stephanie Lynn Schramm, 39, of Portland was stopped by police using a pursuit maneuver that caused Schramm to spin out. She was taken into custody without further incident. 

Stephanie Lynn Schramm, Michael Lee Morasch and Ryan WeaksSchramm was arrested on charges of attempting to elude, unauthorized use of a vehicle, meth possession and an outstanding felony warrant from Multnomah County for a previous charge of attempting to elude. Bail was set at $30,000. Police said their investigation in this case led to to a residence at 6209 S.E. 97th Ave. in Portland. Deputies contacted the two occupants there, identified as Ryan Weaks, 37, of Portland and Michael Lee Morasch, 49, who were placed under arrest for outstanding warrants without incident.

Weaks was booked into Clackamas County Jail on three counts of probation violation stemming from an identity-theft case. Morasch was booked on theft and parole-violation charges.
