CCSO seeks tips about blaze that firefighters contained to one building at Willamalane Apartments

A suspicious fire displaced four people on Thursday and damaged an apartment building in Oak Grove.

Shortly before 5 a.m. a 911 call sent Clackamas firefighters and Clackamas County deputies rushing to the Willamalane Apartments, located in the 4700 PHOTO COURTESY: CCSO - American Red Cross officials arrived in Oak Grove to provide disaster relief to the four residents displaced.block of Southeast Boardman Avenue.

Crews kept the fire to one building, and investigators quickly determined the fire was suspicious. Investigators from CCSO, Clackamas Fire, Oregon State Police, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms are looking into the exact cause.

No one was reported to be hurt.
