Man accused of stabbing Milwaukie Domino's worker
MILWAUKIE — Police are investigating the case of a Domino's employee being stabbed multiple times after asking a patron to leave the store for smoking inside.
At around 11 p.m. Sunday, June 14, the Milwaukie Police Department responded to a call about a disturbance involving a person with a knife at Domino's Pizza, 10586 S.E. 32nd Ave. When officers arrived, they found 44-year-old Eli Allyn Parks of Portland had stabbed the employee during a short fight as the victim attempted to defend himself.
Police say another Domino's employee was able to retrieve a firearm and challenge Parks, who immediately dropped the knife and stopped attacking the victim. Police arrived moments later and detained Parks without incident.
The 45-year-old victim is in the intensive care unit at a local hospital. The suspect was treated at the hospital for minor injuries before being lodged at Clackamas County Jail on charges of attempted murder, assault, menacing and unlawful use of a weapon. Bail was set at $500,000.
