Police seek witnesses to Oregon City McDonald's assault
Oregon City police are investigating an incident in which two men reportedly assaulted each other, resulting in one victim undergoing surgery at OHSU after receiving a stabbing wound.
Around 10:40 p.m. on Thursday, officers responded to a report of a disturbance between the men at McDonald's, 2010 Clackamette Drive. Capt. Shaun Davis said police located one subject at the restaurant, and the stabbing victim was located at the Oregon City Shopping Center. The man found at McDonald's declined to be taken to the hospital for any injuries.
Davis has not released the names of the people involved in the incident and said no arrests have been made at this point. He said detectives are trying to determine which of the two men was the aggressor and whether one of them may have been acting in self-defense.
