State of the Cities was the last in-person event the chambers hosted last year, and this year's event will be one of the first public events for Oregon City's newly elected mayor.

Chamber members, business leaders and the general public are welcome, but the mayors of Milwaukie, Happy Valley, Gladstone and Oregon City are being asked to emphasize aspects of their work that impacts business and livability in their cities. After the initial presentation, Mayors Tom Ellis, Mark Gamba, Rachel Lyles Smith and Tammy Stempel will be invited to answer questions via chat.
