Caring Places River Terrace Memory Care

National Assisted Living Week was created by the National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL) in 1995 which provides the opportunity for residents, families, staff, volunteers and greater community to recognize the roll of assisted living and caring for seniors. Our goal at Caring Places is to educate the public about the importance and benefits of long term care.

This year the theme of National Assisted Living week is "Joyful Moments". During the week of September 11th - 17th we will create joyful moments and reflect on special memories. After the last two years and the challenges COVID-19 presented we feel it is even more important to find daily joy and happiness. Each of our care communities are planning a variety of events and activities to celebrate the staff and residents they serve.

Our variety of special activities planned in our communities include anything from themed 'spirit week' to disco parties, raffles, live music entertainers and more. Stay tuned to our Facebook pages to see our residents in action as we fill our week with joyful moments and create special memories.

For more information on National Assisted Living Week visit www.ahcancal.org/NALW. If you want to share your own joyful moment via social media make sure to use #NALW in your post. We are looking forward to a special week. For more information about senior care in our Caring Places visit us online at CaringPlaces.com.
