Anti-hate ordinances and listening sessions are necessary but insufficient responses to the lack of accountability and trust between the Portland police and the public.

We have to ask: Does the new, one-density-size-fits-all proposal take into account issues like street parking? Impact on schools? Water and sewer facilities? If not, it sure should.

If you want to keep your children and your community safe from unnecessary disease, hospitalization, medical intervention and possibly death - and save the hundreds of thousands of state tax dollars that otherwise will be wasted on treating preventable-diseases while doing so - contact your legislator and let them know that you support protecting the medically vulnerable through vaccines.

If it becomes unviable for Oregon family farms to stay in business, that opens the door even wider to imported food coming from countries like China, Mexico, and Brazil, which have a lot lower environmental standards than we have.
