‘Just Like You

‘Shen Yun 2014

It’s an all-new dance production as the Chinese historical show, reviving 5,000 years of civilization from dynasties to modern day, returns to Portland. Based in New York, Shen Yun is the world’s premier classical Chinese dance company, accompanied by an orchestra and exquisite costumes and animated backdrops.

Fourteen Portland dancers express themselves in the second installment of the festival, the brainchild of Lindsey Matheis. ‘Charlotte’s Web

Oregon Children’s Theatre puts on the classic story of friendship, loss and love and a pig named Wilbur and his family of animals, based on the book by E.B. White that first appeared in print in 1952. It has been declared the No. 1 children’s novel by School Library Journal.

Portland Bridal Show

Bridal fashion, photography, catering, honeymoon travel and “everything wedding” are part of the 35th annual show. The unofficial wedding season is May through September in Oregon. The bridal fashion shows, presenting recent trends, are always a highlight. The Portland Bridal Show expects to draw nearly 10,000 people.
