Doc spotlight

"Hearts of the Dulcimer"

Filmmakers and podcasters Patricia Delich and Wayne Jiang will screen their new documentary at the Hollywood Theatre, 4122 N.E. Sandy Blvd., 7:30 p.m. Monday, April 16. It's about the dulcimer instrument and the mountain dulcimer boom of the 1970s in California and its lasting impact. There'll be a dulcimer pre-show concert at 7 p.m. with Joellen Lapidus (who made Joni Mitchell's dulcimer) and Aaron O'Rourke (today's top player); they are both in the film.
