Oregon Symphony

• The legendary Smokey Robinson plays with the Oregon Symphony on Valentine's Day at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, at Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall, 1037 S.W. Broadway. Tickets start at $35.

• The symphony plays the score to "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" while the movie shows on the big screen, 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, and 2 and 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17, at the Schnitz. Tickets: start at $35.

Mortified Portland

Portlanders share their shame on stage, Valentine's Day-style, in the latest Mortified session.

Women and men

The one-man, Off-Broadway hit comedy "Men Are From Mars — Women Are From Venus Live!" comes to Portland. It's based on the bestselling book by John Gray. Host Peter Story tackles dating and marriage issues.

Oregon Ballet Theatre stages the classic fairy tale with choreography by Ben Stevenson; the OBT Orchestra plays Sergei Prokofiev's music. OBT previously performed the rags-to-riches story of the sister, her stepmother and stepsisters and fairy godmother in 2015. Xuan Cheng dances the lead role.

Listen Up Festival

The citywide pop-up podcast festival, founded by Shauna Noah and presented by Travel Portland, features podcasters tackling such topics as crime, cannabis, food and drink, sports, business and culture. It takes place Thursday-Sunday, Feb. 14-17, at several Portland venues. For complete info:

KidFest! — SportFest!

It's tabbed the Northwest's largest family expo and is two shows in one, featuring a slew of activities — entertainment, physical fun such as a zipline and rock wall, cooking, arcades and art.
