• Local curator Greg Hamilton welcomes film director John Dahl to the Hollywood Theatre, 4122 N.E. Sandy Blvd., 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, for a screening of his film noir classic "Red Rock West," starring Nic Cage, Laura Flynn Boyle and Dennis Hopper. Dahl also will appear at Movie Madness at 2 p.m. that day for an in-person conversation about his career.
