BUSINESS NEWS UPDATE: Mess Maid Right NW
To earn money while in nursing school in 2005, Denise C. Baker started cleaning houses. Today, her company called Mess Maid Right NW has grown from a one-woman cleaning service with an eye for detail, to a company with 15+ employees and a mission to provide top quality service.
During the pandemic, Mess Maid Right NW has pivoted to the needs of their customers. Sure, they are still providing janitorial, commercial, move-in, post-construction, home and carpet cleaning services, but they have added another element to their business: keeping essential workers safe by applying a botanical disinfectant after a customer's regular service is done. This extra step helps to lower the chance of the spread of disease.
"Our employees are now helping front line and essential workers bymaintaining the cleanliness in their home and disinfecting common areas, so that they don't have to worry so much after they get off a long shift," Denise C. Baker said. "Cleaning is more than just a clean surface. A true clean requires disinfection after the surfaces have been removed of soil, debris and pathogens."
All employees are checked daily for illness and wear PPE and medical-grade gloves; equipment, including vehicles, are disinfected daily. Online booking is available and free estimates are given contact-free via phone.
