If you've seen Drake's new music video, then you might have noticed a familiar location in the background.
The rapper used the Nike World Headquarters location near Beaverton as the backdrop for his "Laugh Now Cry Later" music video featuring Lil Durk.
The video begins with an aerial view of the Nike campus with a midnight timestamp, which is maybe how the artist was able to keep it under wraps.
The late-night shoot was filmed a few weeks ago, according to Nike spokesperson Greg Rossiter.
Drake first reached out to Nike earlier this summer to collaborate on the video, Rossiter said.
"We're proud that Drake is a part of the Nike family, which includes some of the world's most influential names across sport, style, entertainment and culture," he said. "We're inspired by his creative and collaborative approach to music and admire his passion and enthusiasm for sport, athletes and the art of competition."
Rossiter said Drake "expressed an interest in celebrating the power of sport with Nike as the backdrop."
In the video, Drake is seen driving up to the headquarters in a lavish car and is soon joined by big-name athletes such as Kevin Durant, Odell Beckham Jr. and Marshawn Lynch.
The setting soon changes to the Nike Company Store, where people shop for exclusive discounts on Nike shoes and apparel. Drake is then seen counting money in his hands while being surrounded by iconic bright orange Nike boxes and bags.
Despite the flashy bills, the most memorable scene includes Drake riding jet skis with rapper Lil Durk in a lake on campus.
As for how long Drake and his crew filmed on campus, Nike did not provide additional details regarding the production. Drake's record label and the production company couldn't be reached for comment.
