La Salle Prep is producing a free, online show featuring performances and artwork by students at the school in the Milwaukie area. The show will go live at 8 p.m. on Oct. 28 on YouTube.

The show is the first in a series of "Artist Aiding" events designed to raise money for people in need by showcasing La Salle students' artistic talent.

The Artists Aiding group was launched this summer by La Salle juniors Brooklyn Chillemi, Emma Olson and Hannah Reddick. In a video introducing the project, the three said they wanted to stage the shows "to make a difference in our community."

Donations raised as a result of the first benefit will go to p:ear, a nonprofit that mentors homeless youth while helping them discover and nurture their talents.

To see a rough cut of La Salle sophomore Isabella Simonutti singing in the show, go to La Salle Prep's Facebook or Instagram pages.
