When people visit Sunlan they often ask what kind of light bulbs I use adding, "You must have the most wonderful lighting," I do have great lighting. I live in a cottage I designed to live in forever. I designed the lighting with my needs in mind. I have ceiling fans with 3 to 4 bulbs in each room. I like overhead lighting fixtures. I have wall sconces on all walls so I can illuminate my art and add more light to my rooms. Fixtures are switched on in the area they are used. Only one or two fixtures per switch. All of the fixtures hold Full Spectrum Neodymium bulbs. These lights were designed to combat depression. Neodyumn bulbs creates light for reading, growing plants and feels like sunshine. I also use what I call tip toe lights in plug-in fixtures. Flicker flame bulbs in our custom candle-style holder say welcome in the windows. Two Flicker Flames in the bathroom, are my night lights. With all the glass and chrome, the flicker dances around the bathroom as I walk in. I use 5-watt Starlight globes in every room. I call them my fireflies. A fun night light. Five small bulbs inside a G40 Globe provide just the right amount of light for my evening. There is not a correct way to light up your home. There are many ways to light OUR home. Come in and discover your light.
