T2 loses in Oklahoma
TIMBERS 2 SOCCER
Defender Michael Daly's header in the 75th minute lifted the OKC Energy to a 2-1 win over Portland Timbers 2 on Wednesday in United Soccer League action.
Portland fell to 1-8-1 (4 points) on the season with the loss in front of 3,910 fans at Taft Stadium in Oklahoma City. The Energy improved to 3-4-1 (10 points).
Victor Arboleda scored his second goal of the season for Timbers 2. Taking a pass from Augustine Williams, Arboleda tied the score 1-1 in the 59th minute.
That goal followed OKC's first goal, in the 55th minute, from Daniel Gonzalez.
