THURSDAY SPORTS NEWS/Additions to Cavaliers men's golf team include former standouts from Camas, West Albany highs

Concordia University men's golf coach has six players for 2017-18, which will be the Cavaliers' third year as part of the NCAA Division II Great Northwest Athletic Conference.

The incoming golfers are Braeden Campbell, Jaxson, Daskalos, isaac Hall, Adam Quandt, Steve Shih and Luke Travins.

Campbell is a transfer from Hawaii-Hilo and from Camas High.

Daskalas comes from McMurry University in Abilene, Texas and is a graduate of West Albany High.

Hall is from Spokane, Washington; Quandt hails from Lahaina, Hawaii; Shih is a native of Tapei, Taiwan; and Travins is from Colorado Springs, Colorado.

After the preliminary games, teams will be seeded for a tournament that starts on July 12.
