WEDNESDAY USL RECAP/Portland falls 2-1 on the road in UNited Soccer League match; T2 season ends on Saturday

San Antonio FC beat visiting Portland Timbers 2 by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday in United Soccer League action.

The win in front of 6,096 fans at Toyota Park in San Antonio moved San Antonio FC (16-4-11) into second place in the USL Western Conference. T2 (3-22-6) is last in the conference standings.

Bill Tuiloma scored his third goal of the season for Portland. The defender headed in a free kick delivery from Renzo Zambrano to tie the score 1-1 in the 38th minute.

San Antonio took a 1-0 lead in the 14th minute on a header by Ever Guzman. The winning goal came in the 71st minute when Ryan Roushandel converted a close-range shot off a pass from Guzman.

T2 concludes its season on Saturday in Arizona with a 6:30 p.m. match at Phoenix Rising FC.
