MONDAY COLLEGE RESULTS/Pacific Boxers remain undefeated in men's basketball season with victory at Pioneers


LEWIS & CLARK 75, Pacific 53

Miyah Leith scored a game-high 20 points to help the homecourt Pioneers get another Northwest Conference victory on Monday night.

The Pioneers improved to 5-3, including 4-1 at Pamplin Sports Center. In conference play, Lewis & Clark is 1-1.

Pacific dropped to 0-7, 0-2 in the NWC.

L&C led 28-14 after one quarter and by 24 points midway through the third quarter.

Leith also had seven rebounds, and teammate Lauren Wood had 14 points and a game-leading nine rebounds.


Pacific 96, LEWIS & CLARK 77

The visiting Boxers improved to 8-0, 3-0 in the Northwest Conference.

The Pios fell to 1-5, with their fourth loss in a row. In NWC play, L&C is 1-2.

At the half, Pacific led 46-35, and was shooting 59.4 percent from the field to Lewis & Clark's 30.3 percent.

Jay Merriweather of Pacific led all scorers with 28 points, 16 in the first half.

For the Pioneers, Andrew Vickers scored 18 points, and Mak Hutson had 15.

Pacific finished at 61.9 percent from the field and held L&C to 37.3 percent.
