The Kamloops Blazers beat the Portland Winterhawks for the second night in a row at home, rallying from an 0-2 deficit Saturday for a 4-2 victory.
Portland scored both its goals in the first period. Skyler McKenzie got his 37th goal of the Western Hockey League season at 4:29, shorthanded and off assists from Dennis Cholowski and Alex Overhardt.
Jake Gricius scored at 12:06, with an assist to Ryan Hughes.
Kamloops pulled even with second-period goals at 5:37 and 11:31.
The Blazers took the lead 43 seconds into the third period and got an empty-net goal with 1:04 remaining.
Shane Farkas stopped 32 of 35 shots in goal for Portland, which went 0 for 4 on power plays.
Kamloops was 0 for 2 with the man advantage.
The Hawks fell to 28-17-1-3, while Kamloops improved to 23-23-1-2.
The teams will meet again at 5 p.m. Sunday at Moda Center.
