A Trail Blazers power forward, NFL quarterback from Burns and NHL player/ex-Portland Winterhawk have reason to celebrate this week

Ed Davis (age 29)

Born in Washington, D.C., the Trail Blazers power forward played college basketball at North Carolina and was drafted 13th overall by the Toronto Raptors in 2010. His father, Terry Davis, also a 6-9 power forward, played 10 seasons in the NBA.

June 6, 1983

Kellen Clemens (age 35)

From Burns, the 6-2, 220-pound Clemens starred at the University of Oregon, then began his NFL career in 2006 with the New York Jets. He spent the last four seasons with the San Diego Chargers, his fifth pro team. In his career, he has completed 350 of 638 passes (54.9 percent) for 4,053 yards and 16 touchdowns.

June 6, 1997

Caleb Jones (age 21)

The former Portland Winterhawks defenseman was chosen in the fourth round of the 2015 NHL draft by the Edmonton Oilers. In 2017-18, the 6-1, 205-pounder from Frisco, Texas, played for the Bakersfield Condors of the American Hockey League.
