Lynn Lashbrook is president of Portland-based Sports Management Worldwide, the first online sports management school, with a mission to educate future sports business executives and provide them with job opportunities. SMWW trains thousands of students annually and offers a global sports facility via online training, with more than 15,000 alumni from over 162 countries through its two decades of existence.
Lashbrook, 70, recently traveled to India with his wife, Liz, to speak as several sports-related events throughout the country. Lashbrook sat down with Portland Tribune columnist Kerry Eggers to discuss highlights from his trip and how his company is becoming even more relevant in the digital age.
