Mariners edge Orioles, 7-6, in 13 innings
Mallex Smith scored on an infield single by Tim Lopes in the 13th inning as Seattle beat Baltimore 7-6 Saturday at Camden Yards in Baltimore.
Smith had reached on an error to get on base, and scored from second base on the infield single.
J.P Crawford hit a three-run homer and Shed Long a solo shot. The two combined to go 6 for 9 with five RBIs and five runs scored.
Austin Hays homered for Baltimore.
The Mariners (66-89) and Orioles (50-105) play the series finale at 10 a.m. PT Sunday. Marco Gonzales (16-11, 4.14) goes for his 17th win for Seattle opposite John Means (10-11, 3.65). It's Seattle's final road game of the season.
