  • She came back for one more go-round, and Oregon is glad she did.

The Ducks' floor leader floored everyone who watched her this season, including award voters: Already, Sabrina Ionescu has been named the Player of the Year in college women's basketball by The Associated Press and ESPN.com.

This season, she shot .518 from the field, .392 on 3-pointers and .921 at the free-throw line, averaging 17.5 points, 8.6 rebounds and 9.1 assists in 33.7 minutes per game.

Oregon won the Pac-12 regular-season and tournament championships and was 31-2 and ranked second in the nation when the NCAA Tournament was canceled due to the coronavirus.

Ionescu, a 5-11 senior from Walnut Creek, California, now is expected to be the top pick in the 2020 WNBA draft.
