Grand Prix of Portland pushed back a week
The Grand Prix of Portland IndyCar race is being moved back one week.
The race weekend will be Sept. 11-13, instead of Sept. 4-6, at Portland International Raceway.
The Portland stop is part of various shifts on the IndyCar calendar, notably a move of the Indy 500 from May 24 to Aug. 23, all due to the coronavirus.
Purchased tickets to the Grand Prix of Portlan remain valid.
The next race on the IndyCar calendar now is Streets of Detroit. That event has back-to-back races on May 30 and 31.
Three events each are set for June and July, and August will have three races, including the Indy 500.
The Grand Prix of Portland will be third from the last in the 2020 season.
