LaRue Martin

(age 70)

The 6-11 Martin was the No. 1 pick in the 1972 NBA draft, chosen by the Trail Blazers out of Loyola of Chicago. He played for Portland from 1972-76, averaging 5.3 points and 4.6 rebounds. The Blazers traded him to the Seattle SuperSonics, and he retired before the 1976-77 season.

March 30, 1999

Jaylen Hoard

(age 21)

The 6-8 small forward from Le Havre, France played for the Trail Blazers in 2019-20, and spent time with the Texas Legends of the NBA G League. He came out of Wake Forest via Wesleyan Christian Academy in High Point, North Carolina.

In 13 games with Portland, he averaged 7.9 minutes, 2.9 points and 2.5 rebounds.
