Colorado pitchers allow one hit against Mariners
The Seattle Mariners have been struggling offensively in recent games, and hit a low Saturday against Colorado at T-Mobile Park.
The Mariners managed only one hit, a J.P. Crawford single, as Colorado beat Seattle 5-0.
The Mariners (5-11) have lost seven of the past eight games.
Starter Ryan Castellani and three relievers combined on the gem for the Rockies. They struck out six and walked two. Crawford singled off reliever Jeff Hoffman in the bottom of the sixth inning.
The Rockies (11-3) scored four runs in the fifth inning, three coming on Charlie Blackmon's bases-clearing double. Daniel Murphy's single scored Blackmon. Trevor Story added an RBI single in the next inning.
Blackmon and Murphy each had three hits for Colorado.
