Rangers beat Mariners, 4-2
The Seattle Mariners didn't have much offense Tuesday night.
The Mariners managed only four singles against Texas starter Mike Minor and relievers and the Rangers beat Seattle 4-2 at Globe Life Park in Arlington, Texas.
Nick Solak had three hits and three RBIs for Texas (7-9). The Rangers led 4-0 after three innings.
Minor allowed one hit in four innings. Five relievers helped finish the job.
J.P. Crawford had an RBI single for Seattle (7-12), and the Mariners also scored on an error.
Marco Gonzales allowed seven hits and four runs in five innings in the loss.
The series concludes at 6 p.m. Wednesday. Taijuan Walker pitches for Seattle opposite Jordan Lyles.
