After break, Mariners down Rangers, 6-3
After having their three-game series versus Oakland postponed because of COVID-19 testing for the Athletics, the Seattle Mariners returned to play and beat Texas 6-3 Friday at T-Mobile Park.
J.P. Crawford hit a three-run homer in the eighth inning to seal the win.
Earlier, Ty France had an RBI single in his first game with Seattle since being acquired from San Diego. Evan White had a two-run double.
Yusei Kikuchi allowed two hits and one run while striking out seven and walking none in six innings for Seattle (16-22).
Jose Trevino homered for Texas (13-24).
The teams play again at 6:10 p.m. Saturday with Justus Sheffield pitching for Seattle opposite Kyle Gibson.
