The Mariners swept a doubleheader from American League West Division champion Oakland on Saturday, winning 5-1 in the opener and 12-3 in the second game.

The Mariners scored five runs in the eighth (extra) inning of the opener, capped by Kyle Seager's two-run homer. J.P. Crawford went 3-for-4 with two RBIs. Justus Sheffield allowed five hits and one run in five innings.

Seager, Tim Lopes and Evan White homered in the second game. Crawford had another two hits. Justin Dunn allowed six hits and three runs in five innings.

Robbie Grossman had two homers for Oakland in the second game.

The Mariners (27-32) and Athletics (35-24) wrap up the regular season at 1:10 p.m. Sunday. Marco Gonzales pitches for Seattle opposite Frankie Montas.
